Yahoo! Mail goes unlimited
Gmail’s 2GB limit smacked down by Yahoo!’s tenth birthday present.
As it reaches the ripe old age of 10, Yahoo! Mail has announced that it will shortly be offering users unlimited email storage.
This represents a first for a web-based email service. Yahoo! Mail kicked off in 1997 with a storage limit of 4MB per user, and currently offers 1GB per account (and 2GB for the “premium” users who pay $20 a year).
